Open Water Diver
- PADI’s open water certification is a week-long certification process. We teach you safety, gear, proper technique, and the fundamentals of scuba diving. After completion of the open water certification, you will be certified to dive up to 60 feet for life. Not able to spend a week with us? We do offer other options for those short on time. Call our shop and ask about our All-day classes, private classes, semi-private classes, and referrals. Southwest Aqua Sports is also proud to offer a learn at your own pace option in conjunction with PADI.
- PADI’s E-Learning option lets you complete your book work in the comfort of your own home and come visit us for a discounted rate when you are ready to complete the water portion of your certification.
Advanced Open Water Diver
- PADI’s Advanced Open Water Certification is a three-day certification process. We expand on your knowledge of scuba diving and teach you new techniques, extended your safety knowledge, and teach you about new environmental factors. After completion of Advanced Open Water Certification, you will be certified to dive up to 120 feet and be able to participate in exciting dives like night, deep, drift, boat, wreck, and many more. Southwest Aqua Sports is also proud to offer a learn at your own pace option in conjunction with PADI.

Enriched Air Specialty

PADI’s Enriched Air Diver Specialty is a short class. In this class, we will explain the benefits of diving on Nitrox and teach you how to do it safely. We also will teach you how to adjust your computers and read an enriched air sensor. Call the shop and ask about our Advanced Open Water Diver and Nitrox bundle and enjoy a discount when you sign up for both classes.
